Multi Level Marketing has been around for over 50 years.
Also called Network Marketing, it is the fairest way for a group of people to make money.
When you join a MLM business like Amway, you become a business within a business.
You get a marketing system, training, mentoring and support.
Strict rules are in place, as with a franchise, because following these rules gives you an excellent chance of success. Making up your own rules, or doing nothing, guarantees you a very good chance of failure.
The system you get has been proven and tested by those who have gone before you.
A Multi Level Marketing business is very much like a franchise but whereas a franchise has boundaries or areas that you can operate in - MLM is worldwide.
So how does a MLM business operate?
You pay a joining or application fee of usually less than $100 which gives you access to the system, your free support, permission to bring others into the business and acces to a range of products and services at wholesale prices. The joining fee goes directly to the company - not to the person who signed you up.
You then help other like-minded people do the same. People, like you, who have a vision to make more money to help pay the bills, buy a car, go on holidays or retire early.
The earning potential is unlimited. It depends on how many people you personally find and how big your group turnover is.
Your earnings are not fixed to the people above's earnings. You can make as much as you like. If the people above you do not do much work and you do a lot, you make more than them. Pure and simple.
You could be making $100 000 a year, for 10 years then decide you want to make $500 000 a year. As long as you do the work, you will make the money.
With a pyramid scheme, you cannot make more than the people above you. Major companies, like BHP Billiton, Mobil, BP, etc actually work on a pyramis system. (albeit, a legal one)
The worker cannot earn more than their supervisor. Lower management cannot earn more than middle management, which cannot earn more than the next tier up, etc.
With MLM, your earnings relate to your input. And if you find 20 people, some of these will do nothing, some will do something and some will do a lot. So it doesn't look like a pyramid, more like a family tree.
Some legs go a long way, some don't go anywhere and some go a short way.
With Amway, you can have as many personally enrolled people (legs) as you can get.
All in all, MLM or Network Marketing is the fairest and best way to make money but it does require time and work. But after you have set it up properly, the money keeps coming in and your income will keep rising as more and more people join in.
There are some great money making ideas with MLM but bear in mind the types and number of products you can personally buy. Ensure they are not limited.
Health, nutrition and wellness are a boom trend at the moment and will be for the next 10 - 15 years.
With network marketing, the amount of money you earn is dependant on 2 things.
If you have 1000 people in your group and they all buy nothing - you get nothing.
If you have 100 people in your group and they buy $500 worth of stuff a month, you make money. And so do they. 1000 people buying $500 worth of stuff a month and you make big money.
Network marketing is about buying for self-consumption and finding people who do the same.
Afterall, we all buy groceries, insurances, vitamins and cosmetics. So instead of buying from a shop, you buy from 'your own shop', save money and make money!
Network marketing also lets you on-sell the products and sell them at retail, giving you more money.
AliveMax has oral sprays for multi-vitamins, vitality, anti-aging and weight loss as well as skin care products to moisturize, clean and tone and a face lift product.
Amway has vitamins and minerals (certified 100% organic), skin care, beauty, make up, energy drinks, energy bars, groceries, air and water purifiers, cleaning products for yourself, kitchen, bathroom and laundry as well as home loans and insurances.
If you are serious about making more money, network marketing is the way to go.
You must have ambition, a huge reason to succeed, be teachable and an attitude to succeed.
It is not a get-rich-scheme even though a small minority of people have replaced their income and retired after 12 months.
It's not for everyone. Those who 'fail' blame network marketing and out it down. But generally they 'fail' because they do nothing, or try a few times, get no results and give up.
It's not easy. But it's fun and very rewarding for the right people.
